Anticipation has been building through Muthu’s renovation of this iconic Category B listed property. It includes the 1896 Scottish Baronial building designed by Alexander Shairp that was originally the Marine Hotel. But the most noticeable feature is the 1936 building in the Streamline Moderne fashion by James Taylor. The original design, which features the elegant curved forms and aerodynamic lines characteristic of the style, is among the bestpreserved hotels of this era in Scotland.
