On a walk­ing tour of the City of Lon­don, we will see Lon­don’s Ro­man am­phithe­atre, the me­dieval churches that es­caped the Great Fire of Lon­don and the Cru­sader roots of the Inns of Court. Along the way, you will learn the clas­si­cal or­ders of ar­chi­tec­ture and the his­tory of English Gothic from Harry Mount, ar­chi­tec­tural his­to­rian and edi­tor of The Oldie. In­cludes lunch (and wine) in Mid­dle Tem­ple Hall, the best El­iz­a­bethan build­ing in Lon­don. 12 noon Meet-up and in­tro­duc­tion by Harry Mount (full meet-up de­tails to fol­low) 12-1pm Walk and City tour 1-2 pm Two-course lunch in the Mid­dle Tem­ple Hall 2-3.30pm Walk and City tour to fin­ish
