SIR: As a regular and enthusiastic reader of both your organ and Private Eye, I couldn’t help but feel that Jonathan Meades’s tortuous phraseology in his article on Burne-jones (November issue) would be sufficient to fill ten years’ worth of Pseuds Corner. We who love satire can take only so much of this pretentiousness at any one time.
