Do think of the turkey

SIR: Virginia Ironside’s correspondent who is so concerned at the thought of a Christmas dinner without the complete carcase of a turkey (November issue) might consider a goose-turkey-duckchicken-less Christmas for a change.

My wife prepares a delicious chestnut roast which has been our traditional Christmas fare for many years.
