SIR: I much enjoyed Alice Pitman’s account of her aged mother’s reminiscences (Home Front, March issue), particularly about Robert Maxwell. The Aged P refers to Maxwell’s country pile, Headington Hall, near Oxford, from which he would commmute to his Daily Mirror office by helicopter.
