Team Orkney delivers, despite the challenges

Community spirit, combined with a willingness to embrace change and face difficulties head on have led to opportunities within our islands.

Despite the obvious challenges faced during the pandemic, there have been a number of success stories within the county.

It is often said that we don’t grow when things are easy; we grow when we face challenges — this has been demonstrated by Team Orkney — made up of the private, public and voluntary sectors — and which continues to show a level of resilience like no other faced since wartime.
