Business Support tops £10.5m

Our local businesses have stepped up to the challenge of the past several months, innovating and transforming their services to meet the requirements of our new normal. At Christmas 2020, the council had awarded well over 1,000 council and Scottish Government grants or temporary cash flow loans to the value of over £10million — including around £2million of awards committed from the council’s Coronavirus Response Fund.
