Generations working together
Young children from St Andrews Nursery and older members of the East Mainland community joined forces in a new pen pal initiative called “Bridging the Gap.”
The new scheme, undertaken by the nursery and the Adult Befriending Service in Orkney, brought together different generations from the age of three up to 90!
Its success has been notable, and it is hoped they will be able to meet safely some day!
