MP’S fight on stroke

LABOUR MP Ge­of­frey Robin­son was bat­tling back last night af­ter suf­fer­ing a mini stroke.

Mr Robin­son, 80, said he had a mi­nor heart op­er­a­tion but would re­turn to Parliament this week to vote against the Gov­ern­ment’s Brexit deal.

The for­mer chair­man of Jaguar and Coven­try City FC said: “I’m re­cov­er­ing well” along­side a snap of Arnold Sch­warzeneg­ger say­ing “I’ll be back.”

The MP was Pay­mas­ter Gen­eral in Tony Blair’s gov­ern­ment.
