Corrie’s Rita furious as Norris flogs shop
CORONATION Street’s Rita Sullivan faces losing her beloved Kabin as she is betrayed by old friend Norris Cole.
And to make it worse, he flogs the shop to locals Brian Packham and Cathy Matthews.
On hearing the news Rita, played by Barbara Knox, 85, screams: “Get outta my Kabin!”
It was confirmed last month that Malcolm Hebdon,78, will return as fusspot Norris next year after suffering a heart attack. This is thought to be his comeback storyline.
A Corrie insider said: “Rita is the Kabin. She’s been behind that counter serving the residents of Weatherfield for decades.
“Even when Norris bought it off her, she remained working there and has been holding the fort all these months while he has been en away. Brian and Cathy tell Rita they have ve done the deal to buy the Kabin.
“But until she has seen the contract she’s he’s having none of it. Let the Kabin war begin.” in.”
A Corrie spokeswoman said last night: “We We do not comment on future storylines.”
