- By Janine Yaqoob TV EDITOR

WITH the happiest of smiles, Dame Barbara Windsor is in sparkling form on a night out with a host of celebrity pals.

The 81-year-old TV legend, who has Alzheimer’s disease, enjoyed an early Christmas party in central

London accompanied by her husband Scott Mitchell.

The loved-up pair had a cracker of a time at a private festive bash thrown by

Russian-british newspaper magnate Evgeny Lebedev.

Other stars at the do included Sir Mick Jagger,

Dame Shirley Bassey, Robbie

Williams, Dame Helen Mirren and actor Bradley Cooper.

Liz Hurley was joined by Sir

Elton John’s husband David

Furnish. Paloma Faith and artist Grayson Perry also arrived at the party.

London Mayor Sadiq

Khan and former PM

David Cameron represented the political world.

But it was Carry On star Babs who stole the show as she enjoyed a rare night out since her diagnosis earlier this year.

Devoted Scott, 55, said: “It was lovely for Barbara to be out and see a few old friends. She really joined in the

Christmas spirit.”
