Bully ma’ race quiz
THE mother of a teenager accused of waterboarding a Syrian refugee was quizzed by police over a suspected racist attack.
The woman allegedly called a chip shop worker a “terrorist” before throwing a charity box at him.
She is also alleged to have called the worker a “Paki” on July 21 after she had earlier been convicted of racially abusing him.
The second incident came just three months before a video emerged of her son allegedly bullying Syrian Jamal, 15, and saying: “I’ll drown you.”
The 16- year- old could face an assault charge after the clash at Almondbury Community School in Huddersfield, West Yorks.
West Yorkshire Police said: “A woman was questioned by police in relation to an incident on July 21. There was insufficient evidence to prosecute.”
