FRI, NOV 30 Grace arrives in Auckland and checks into Base Backpackers Hotel. SAT, DEC 1 She makes contact with her family – the last time they hear from her. She is captured on CCTV leaving Andy’s Burgers and Bar on the first level of Skycity at 7.15pm. At 9.41pm Grace is caught again on CCTV entering Citylife hotel with a man.

SUN, DEC 2 Family become concerned after Grace doesn’t respond to messages on her 22nd birthday.

WED, DEC 5 A missing persons report is filed with Auckland police.

THURS, DEC 6 Police appeal to the public for any sightings of Grace.

FRI, DEC 7 Her father David arrives in New Zealand and speaks about his “lovely, outgoing” daughter.

SAT, DEC 8 After searching Grace’s belongings at the backpackers, police say her passport, a pink Casio Baby-g watch and silver greenstone necklace are missing. Just after 3pm, police arrest a 26-year-old man who was allegedly with her at the hotel and find a “vehicle of interest”.
