Tiny school faces chop

-

A RURAL school with only two pupils is under threat of closure.

The number of children at Bleasdale Church of England Primary in Lancashire’s Forest of Bowland has plummeted from 16 in five years.

And by next September it will have only one pupil.

Governors fear the school will no longer be economically viable and are in talks with the county council about closure.

A decision will be made next July.
