Walk of the week

START three-mile walk at Newfield Hall, Airton, North Yorks, by going to main road, turning right and over bridge.

1 As road bears right go left on minor road. After 50m, right through gate.

2 Over field towards farm buildings, through gate in corner, cross stile, right on Kirk Syke Lane. At minor road T junction, turn left towards Airton.

3 Before first righthand house, right through gate. At crossroads, left into Airton, right and follow downhill, cross bridge over River Aire. 4 Right to Pennine Way, follow river, cross field, cross three wall stiles. Follow path, over one more. At Newfield Bridge retrace steps to Hall. Visit ramblers.org.ukfindroutes.
