Q ADO I need to bring my bonsai trees indoors over the winter? Gail, via email NOT unless they are frost-sensitive plants such as ficus. Ideally, stand them on shelves or tables on a sheltered patio to show them off.
Their requirements are simple – water and sun. They should, however, have protection from the brightest sunlight in summer and be covered with horticultural fleece to see them through the hard frost during winter.
