Silva shining..? Too soon to say

Marco Silva JURGEN KLOPP was effusive in his praise of Marco Silva after the Merseyside derby.

But I’m still not convinced by Silva and I won’t be until he has seen out two or three seasons at Goodison Park.

We know he’s an alright manager for six months but the very best gaffers – Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger, Jose Mourinho – did it year after year after year.

So I’m not getting too giddy over Silva just yet.

He has early promise and an undoubted attractive style.

But I need him to continue the start he has had at Everton to show me he’s not just a six-month manager.
