Stuck after ferry prang

PASSENGERS were stranded for 90 minutes on a cross channel ferry – after it collided with the dock.

One passenger told of a “big jolt” as 29,000 ton Amorique berthed in Roscoff, France, after sailing overnight from Plymouth.

The door could not be opened after the incident yesterday – leaving people in cars and lorries stuck.

A spokesman said: “While manoeuvring at very slow speed the ship made heavier than usual contact with the berth.”
