Aisle thank my rescuer

A BRIDE’S dad has traced a woman who saved her from drowning 31 years ago – to thank her properly at the wedding next summer.

Louise Carter was seven when she fell into a freezing lake in Maidstone, Kent, and dog- walker Pamela Kelly dived in to rescue her.

Louise’s dad David tracked down Pamela, 79, to her new home in Poole, Dorset. “I’ll love seeing her and being able to say thank you at last,” said Louise, 38.
