Injured hol girl appeal

THE family of a British woman who broke her neck in Thailand are trying to raise £90,000 for a specialist flight home.

Sophie Wilson, 24, from Shepshed, Leicestershire, was injured when she dived into a bar’s swimming pool.

Insure and Go has said it won’t cover costs because the accident was the result of “reckless behaviour”.

Sophie’s sister Georgina Wilson said she hadn’t seen a warning sign because it was dark. She added: “She wouldn’t intentionally do anything to hurt herself.”
