Sailor, 72 lost at sea

A BRITISH sailor last seen leaving a pub a month ago is feared lost at sea.

It is t hought Roy Broughton, 72, f rom Liverpool, set off in his dinghy after a night with other sailors in St Lucia.

The coastguard has been carrying out air and sea searches of the Caribbean.

A marine officer said: “Boughton’s two yachts were searched but no signs of distress were found.”

Roy’s sister Lynne, from Anglesey, said: “We pray for a happy outcome.”
