My PERFECT day

MORNING

There is nothing better than starting the day with a walk along Holme beach, Norfolk, looking for driftwood. From here a drive to Drove Orchards in Thornham to buy locally grown apples for lunch. NOON Setting off from the Orchards, towards the coastal path, through the salt marshes, leads to a flood bank where there is a seating area to watch birds. We get many rare birds here. EVENING

I’d take a walk alongside the Staithe at Thornham – the sunsets are fantastic here. I’d finish with a bite to eat in The Orange Tree.
