LEICESTER are under orders to hit Racing 92 hard and early – or wave goodbye to their Champions Cup hopes.

A week after losing on Racing’s indoor artificial surface in Paris, Tigers welcome the French aristocrats to wintry Welford Road.

Scrum-half Ben White said: “Racing are a good team and I’m sure they can play in most conditions.

“But it’s about making sure everything we do is right and not taking 10-20 minutes to get into it.

“It’s about putting down a statement from the start and taking it to them.”

Racing have Celtic trio Finn Russell, Simon Zebo and Donnacha Ryan in their starting line-up. Graham Kitchener returns in place of Harry Wells for Tigers.
