Water down the stick for Spurs
TOTTENHAM were fantastic in Barcelona and could well have won by two or three.
So I’m sick and tired of hearing from supporters of other clubs that it was a watered-down Barca that Mauricio Pochettino (left) and his men were facing.
Why must we do down our own all the time?
Yes, Ernesto Valverde made changes.
But it was still Barcelona, they are all senior internationals and, if they want to stay at the Nou Camp, they have to be able to maintain a level in training and the matches they play to be able to compete with the likes of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Ivan Rakitic.
