TV ridicule rocks Goss

- By Karen Rockett

EIGHTIES star Luke Goss of Bros has revealed he is “sick of ridicule” over their reunion gig rockumentary, shown over Christmas.

Critics compared the BBC Four show, Bros: After The Screaming Stops, to The Office, Spinal Tap and Alan Partridge.

It followed drummer Luke, 50, and twin Matt preparing for their sell-out performance at London’s O2 Arena, 30 years after they last played together.

Among unintentionally funny lines was Luke declaring: “Rome wasn’t built in a day but we don’t have the time Rome had.”

Now Luke has said: “I’m kind of sick of being ridiculed. We are working class London boys. Our books weren’t books, they were record sleeves.”

But singer Matt said: “I enjoy the joke. Spinal Tap, David Brent – all flattering comparisons.”
