BEN­NELL is feared to have preyed on at least 100 boys across two decades.

He was first held on a tour of the US with a Stafford­shire youth team af­ter a 13-year-old made a com­plaint.

He ad­mit­ted six counts of sex­ual bat­tery and lewd and las­civ­i­ous be­hav­iour and got four years.

It prompted more to come for­ward and a probe was launched in the UK.

He was ar­rested upon his re­turn af­ter re­lease from a Florida jail and ad­mit­ted 23 of­fences in a 1998 case. Ben­nell ad­mit­ted there were more vic­tims in a jail in­ter­view the same year.
