Gillian still in a panic
GILLIAN Anderson has spoken of her crippling panic attacks ahead of a UK stage show and TV series.
The mum-of-three, best known as Agent Scully in sci-fi drama The X-files, plays a sex therapist in Netflix series Sex Education. She will also star in All About Eve in the West End from next month.
But she admitted: “I am constantly reminded of the fact that I’m not normal.”
Anderson, 50, confessed she is “slightly addicted” to work and suffered daily panic attacks and hallucinations in the early Nineties.
But she said she had become calmer with age, adding: “Fortunately I have enough abnormal people around me to help me feel that it is actually okay.”
The actress lives with her three children in London and has been in a relationship with screenwriter Peter Morgan since 2016.
