Dan’s a Gene-ius on dance floor
YOU have to be a morning person to work on
BBC Breakfast – and presenter Dan Walker brought some of his sparkle to Strictly last night.
As the competition hotted up for Musicals Week, Dan, 44, and his pro partner Nadiya Bychkova danced the Charleston to Good Morning from Gene Kelly classic, Singin’ in the Rain.
Dan, 44, who is in danger of ending up in tomorrow’s dance-off, gave the song his all as he lifted up Nadiya and lit up the dance floor.
Meanwhile, Tilly Ramsay and her partner Nikita Kuzmin performed a Couple’s Choice dance to Revolting Children from Matilda.
And John Whaite got swept up in his Viennese Waltz to Chim Chim Cher-ee from Mary Poppins.
John, who is paired with Johannes Radebe, said he had been bowled over by messages thanking him for being part of Strictly’s first all-male duo.
He said: “There has been so much support.
It’s truly humbling.”
