Magma mia, here I blow again...

-

A PLUME of fire lights up the sky as the roaring Canary Islands volcano shows no sign of slowing down.

La Palma’s Cumbre Vieja eruption increased in intensity following a 5.1-magnitude earthquake on Friday.

Flights and school classes have been cancelled since it started blowing its top two months ago.

The volcano claimed its first life last week when a 72-year-old man fell through a roof while clearing ash. Around 7,000 of the island’s 85,000

residents have been evacuated and over 2,000 buildings destroyed since the start of the emergency, which could go on for months.
