DRIVERS raced to grab fistfuls of dollars after thousands of notes spilled out of an armoured truck.

Video shows the scramble on highway Interstate 5 in Carlsbad, California, after the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation truck’s doors flew open.

Drivers can be seen holding $1 and $20 bills.

And one woman is heard saying: “This is the most insane thing I’ve ever seen.”

A man and a woman were arrested.
