Some buyers think it is a property’s most important feature, according to a poll of nearly 300 estate agents.

More than a third of agents say it is a top-three priority –with demand highest in the South West.

OMDIA researcher Michael Philpott said: “With so many working at home, broadband availability is an essential service.”
