All you need is loaf, Paul

-

WHEN is a sandwich not a sandwich? When it’s made with a bap, a barm, or a stotty, because then it’s just a filled roll.

A sandwich, as we all know, is two slices of bread and a substantial filling like cheese and pickle.

So someone please have a word with Sir Paul Mccartney and stop him besmirching the iconic snack?

He boasts that he makes “a very good sandwich”, using Marmite, lettuce, hummus, cheese, tomato and pickles. In a split bagel.

A WHAT??!! I know he’s lived in the US for ages but the Beatles legend is a Scouser…born in the land of Jam Butty mines.

Get a grip Macca. There’s only one way to make a sarnie.

All you need’s a loaf.
