Caribbean cookery queen Shivi Ramoutar, pictured, will be dishing up tropical delights on P&O’S newest ship.

Caribbean cooking on the 5,200-passenger ship – currently under construction in Germany – for her maiden season from homeport Barbados.

Shivi said, ‘’I hope to make the dining experience on Arvia as much about limin’ [the Caribbean way of chilling out] as it is about the food.”

Clean fuel liquefied natural gas-powered Arvia will offer 14-night Caribbean fly/cruise itineraries from January to March 2023 and October 2023 to March 2024, with prices from £2,099 per person.

P&O president Paul Ludlow added: “Shivi’s passion, bold flavour, colourful ingredients and joyful style will bring traditional Caribbean food to our guests.’’
