Poveda KO concern

TONY MOWBRAY admitted concern over Ian Poveda’s first-half injury after seeing his side fight back to earn a point at Ashton Gate.

Poveda was stretchere­d off with an ankle problem shortly before the break and taken to hospital.

Rovers boss Mowbray said: “Normally we would have taken Ian back with us on the coach but he was in a lot of discomfort and it looks like ligament damage.

“We will need to wait a day or two to assess the damage fully, but it didn’t look good.”
