The Thread Of Love

The People's Friend Special - - HOBBIES -

A thread of love was woven in the crib where Jesus lay; A thread of life that guides us through the turmoil of today. If we can grasp that thread of love, and follow to the end, It leads us to the presence of a mighty guide and friend.

O, thread of life, O, thread of love, unbroken link with God,

Reach down to upheld arms on earth where long ago he trod,

He’ll lead us to eternal life, your son, who banished dread,

Who through the fiercest storms still weaves his ever-guiding thread.
