What inspired me...
When it came to replacing our three-piece suite, we did so with mixed feelings. We had inherited it from my partner’s late parents a decade before and it reminded us of visits to their bungalow in Devon, happy Christmas gatherings and sitting chatting late into the night. It was threadbare and had springs poking through the seats by the time we came to part with it, but seeing it loaded on to the back of a truck brought tears to my eyes, evoking memories as vivid as any photo.
