Help For Hiccups

Who hasn’t suffered from hiccups at one time or another? We may laugh at them now but in times past they were not treated so lightly. Each hiccup was feared to be caused by a drop of blood leaving the heart. The best cure for them, of course, was a good fright or for a friend to stick a cold key down your back!
