Animal Crackers

I have been reading your magazine for a good number of years and particularly enjoy the “Between Friends” section and can identify with “The Farmer And His Wife”, as I’ve spent all my life with dairy cows.

Along with the many ups and downs, there is a funny side to working with these animals, too, as you can see by the photo. One of our young Jersey cows managed to get into the tyre stack and this was the result. Naturally I removed the tyre, but the very next day she repeated the trick. It was easier to move the tyre stack in the end! Ms R.W., Australia.
