Gooey Cheese Fondue Pot
Course: Starter or light main
Skill level: easy Makes: 1 sharing pot
■ 300 g (10½ oz) cheese, chopped into chunks (try mixing different types) ■ 100 g (3½ oz) cream cheese ■ 2 tbs milk
■ 2 tsp flour
■ Pepper, to taste
■ 4 tbs Tracklements Original Onion Marmalade
■ 1 tbs grated Parmesan or Cheddar (optional)
To Serve: cubes of crusty bread; raw vegetables cut for dipping.
1 Pre-heat the oven to 160 deg. C., 325 deg. F., Gas Mark 3.
2 Put the cheese chunks in a bowl. Add the cream cheese, milk, flour and pepper and mix with a spoon.
3 Spoon the Onion Marmalade into an oven-proof dish about 12-15 cm (4½-6 in) diameter and spread out evenly. Top with the cheese mixture.
4 Bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until the cheese starts to bubble. Top with the Parmesan or Cheddar, if using, and put under a medium-high grill until it turns golden.
