Christophe­r Paul Jones, Harley Street therapist, says, “If you’re anxious about a greeting, take time to visualise the options and decide what feels comfortabl­e. If a kiss on the cheek seems over-familiar, visualise a handshake. If that feels too formal, a hug may seem more appropriat­e. When you do meet, be purposeful. They’re likely to take your lead as they may have been uncertain, too!”
