Treasured Memories
I would like to thank Tracey Glasspool very much for her story “The Rosemary Line Café”.
I am ninety-six years old and this story evoked so many memories of meetings and partings at dimly lit train stations during the war years.
I was married at the end of 1942 and can still remember when my husband came home on leave from the Navy about six months later. He gave me a silver locket which I still treasure to this day.
