Mail Delay

The letter in a recent “Friend” about missed appointments with the NHS echoed my experiences.

I received a date for the outpatient clinic; unfortunately it was for the previous week and had taken almost three weeks to be delivered.

To be fair, when I contacted the appointments desk, I was quickly given another date, but my record was marked as a “no show” for the original date.

I wonder how many are counted in that way? E.K.S., Arbroath.
