Set aside a little time to start thinking about next year’s holiday. A long-term study from Finland has shown that taking at least three weeks off work each year can extend your life expectancy, regardless of whether you eat and live healthily or not.

Stress can be a real killer and knowing there’s light at the end of the tunnel – even as far away as next summer – can help.

The study findings showed that taking less than three weeks off each year can increase your risk of heart disease by 37%, and an otherwise healthy lifestyle cannot always compensate for a lifetime of working too hard.
