Avoid lis­ten­ing to sport on the car ra­dio when you’re driv­ing. Psy­chol­o­gists warn that try­ing to keep up with the ac­tion re­cruits the same vis­ual parts of the brain in­volved in driv­ing the car, so in­creas­ing the risk of an ac­ci­dent.

If you worry about be­ing dis­tracted, you’d be bet­ter off lis­ten­ing to speech or mu­sic in­stead.
