Exercise might feel like the last thing you want to do if you’re bunged up with a cold, but a new study from Ball State University in the USA has found no difference in symptoms or recovery time between cold sufferers who kept on exercising and those who took it easy instead.

Although it’s not a good idea to exercise if you have flu, a fever or a chest infection, you won’t make an ordinary cold any worse by staying active. Also, the fitness group said they felt better after exercising, too.
