To Make Up – With the fastened-off yarn, sew the body seam closed from the head down to the neck. Keep this yarn end free at the neck. With the cast-on yarn end, work a running stitch along the cast-on edge of the body and pull tightly to gather. Sew the body closed from the base up to the waist. Stuff firmly then sew the rest of the body seam closed but avoiding the neck area. With the yarn end left at the neck, work a running stitch around the neck and pull tightly to gather. Thread a needle with yarn A and insert it from the centre of the base, taking the needle out at the back of the body. Repeat with the other yarn end and pull on the yarn ends to flatten the base.
