• have a break from booze – it might help you drop off initially but you’ll spend less time in quality, deep sleep

• create a sleep oasis – comfy mattress, soft pillows, warm duvet and clean sheets

• use a “worry diary” – jotting down all your worries before you close your eyes helps get them off your mind
