Betty is our longest-serving fiction writer, and the warmth and energy in her writing is incomparable. Her classic serial “The River Calls Us Home”, published in 1991, is still the gold standard for us, while “Northern Lights” was published as recently as 2017. Our celebration issue wouldn’t have been complete without her.
