Getting there

By car: you can reach Poundbury via the A35 and A37.

By rail: there are two rail stations serving Dorchester. Dorchester South and Dorchester West are both around a 20-minute walk from Poundbury, and regular buses connect Dorchester South to the town.

By bus: the regular number 6 bus runs from Dorchester to Poundbury every half an hour. The X51 travels from Axminster to Dorchester via Poundbury, Lyme Regis, Charmouth and Chideock.
