SAVE £££s and raise cash for the City Hospital children’s ward

-

Save £££s off your next two weekly shops and give a boost to the Amazon children’s ward at the Peterborough City Hospital, simply by shopping at your local Anglia Co-operative foodstore.

Today the ET is helping to launch a fundraising campaign that could raise hundreds of pounds for the Amazon children’s ward at the Peterborough City Hospital.

For six weeks (until Sunday, June 24) the Anglia Co-operative foodstore in Mayor’s Walk, Peterborough, has pledged to support the ward with its ‘Pick up a Penny’ community campaign.

Store manager Gary Cowling said: “The children’s ward is close to our hearts at the store and we stage regular fundraisers for it. This time we want to provide tea, coffee and refreshments for parents whose children are staying in the hospital.”

The store has pledged to give 1p to the cause for every till receipt handed in by shoppers during the six weeks of the campaign.

Gary added: “Quite simply, the more you shop with us during that time, the more you’ll help us raise for the children’s ward. It doesn’t matter how much you spend – just hand your till receipt in!”

Last year, the store’s ‘Pick up a Penny’ fundraiser netted £150 for the ward and, to help you swell the kitty this year, it is giving you the chance to save £3 when you spend £20 on your next two shops there.

All you have to do is use the special coupon on this page - you save and the Amazon children’s ward gains!
